Growing up on the island of Moorea, French Polynesia, Titouan watched the coral reefs around his home gradually disappear. Determined to make a difference, he founded Coral Gardeners to protect what he calls the “lungs of the ocean” and secure the future of marine ecosystems

Did you know Rowan Atkinson, the beloved Mr. Bean, faced huge challenges on his way to success? Growing up, he was bullied for his looks and struggled with a severe stutter. Even though he loved comedy and acting, many told him he’d never make it. But Rowan didn’t give up.

In college, he discovered that he could speak fluently whenever he played a character, and that’s when he found his unique path. With persistence and a love for making people laugh, he created the unforgettable Mr. Bean—a character who has brought joy worldwide. Rowan’s talent for humor is so powerful that he can make people laugh without saying a single word!

Rowan’s story reminds us that you don’t need to be perfect or fit a mold to succeed. Sometimes, it’s our quirks and challenges that make us shine brightest.

Did You Know?

A recent study published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has shown that ultra-processed foods, like sodas, packaged snacks, and flavored chips, may be especially harmful for people with diabetes.   

In the study, 273 adults with type 2 diabetes provided food diaries and blood samples to measure their HbA1c—a marker of average blood glucose over the past 2-3 months. Results showed that participants who ate more ultra-processed foods tended to have higher HbA1c levels, meaning they had poorer blood sugar control over time.
